This print captures what's visible: a fox whose coat is turning from grey to white, with the only warm accent in the whole image in the mustard stripes of his sweater. I created it facing forward with a clean background: on a wall it needs nothing around it.

In his story, the worst thing that ever happened to Otto was losing Ragnhild, the reindeer-Kin who raised him, and he still hasn't faced it head-on. With the things he loves that are no longer there, he does the only thing he knows how: gives them a place. If you want the rest, you'll find his story on the character page.

With Animal Kinhood I've spent years portraying dressed animals living lives like ours, people who get up early and work: here, one who sorts fish in a minus-twenty cold-storage room in northern Norway. Otto is one of them, and this print takes him out of the story and puts him in your home.

As an art print, it works well above a desk or in a hallway you pass through. The matte finish doesn't reflect light, so it works on any wall. If you like how it looks, there are more creatures in the rest of the collection.
