At the Les Suds festival, in Arles, outdoors with three thousand people, a gust of mistral knocked over a speaker tower and half the audience lost sound. Bruno, in charge, rerouted the entire audio feed to the side still standing in under two minutes. The concert finished and the crowd barely noticed anything had broken, which is exactly the point: if the audience notices, something's gone wrong.
The production manager told him he'd saved the show; Bruno didn't answer, sat on the hood of a van and spent forty minutes looking at the stars. He doesn't post it anywhere or use it to land the next gig. On the t-shirt you're wearing his calm face, facing forward, in the lime jacket. And a fact about the species: the mantis is one of the few insects with depth perception, able to judge distances in three dimensions.
