The Building That Breathed
At fourteen, in an apartment block on the outskirts of Montpellier, Bruno used to hear music through the ceiling: not the song, a vibration that traveled down through the pipes as if the building were breathing. A neighbor who'd been a DJ lent him a pair of headphones, and for the first time he heard the space inside a mix: the air that fits inside a sound. That day he stopped listening to songs and started listening to sounds. Everything else comes from there; there's more of him in his biography.
