The snare from the usual side
In his second month as a ranger, on a routine patrol through the north zone of the forest, Jeong found something that had no business being on a wildlife trail: a snare set by people crossing the border. He didn't shout or break anything. He removed it, noted where it was, and filed a report, and that same week he started turning over how to better cover those corners. That day didn't change his face, but it changed his work. Since then, he's one of those who show up exactly where they're needed.
