Primary 1 and the playground ants
Nur is in Primary 1 at a public school in Singapore, and he's, according to his teacher, very attentive but not very participative. Both things are true. In science class, when it's time to observe bugs, no one beats him: he'll stand for forty minutes watching a line of ants, where they go in and where they come out, while everyone else loses interest fast. The problem is the hour. School opens at half past seven, and at that hour he runs on half power, eyes half shut, because the pangolin belongs to the night: he wakes up properly around eleven and truly sleeps during the afternoon nap.
