Tote bag

An iberian bull tote bag for the market, errands, and whatever comes up. It carries Fernando, a blacksmith bull from my Animal Kinhood series, who hand-forges dehesa gates with holm-oak motifs and lights the forge every day at half past six.

Bos taurus

Five hundred years of dehesa fit inside me. Things well made last longer than the people who made them.

Dehesas of the Iberian Peninsula: expanses of holm oak and cork oak with natural pasture in Extremadura, Salamanca, Andalusia and the Portuguese Alentejo. Density of 0.2 to 0.5 head per hectare.

Iron That Bends at Its Own Temperature

In his story, Fernando lights the forge at half past six, and the coal takes seven minutes to come up to heat: he can tell by the colour and the sound of air moving through the embers, without checking a thermometer. He forges four-metre gates and, with the same skill, the thin chain he wears around his neck in the portrait, link by link. Iron bends at its own temperature, not anyone's hurry. That patient trade is what this bag carries, without it showing.

A Bag for the Day's Errands

It's built for the daily hustle: the market shopping, bread, fruit, whatever comes up; you sling it over your shoulder, fill it, empty it, and do the same again the next day. A calm bull up front and a whole invisible trade behind him. I created him facing forward with no background: it reads at a glance. What Fernando does every morning doesn't fit on a tote, so here he arrives light, in bag form. The rest is in his biography.

§ 07What people ask.08 · about POD
  • Each product is made to order when you place your purchase. There is no pre-made stock or overproduction. A specialised production partner prints, cuts, and prepares it specifically for you.
  • It depends on two things: which piece it is and where it goes. Posters, the mug, the tote and the backpack ship from Europe: 4-7 business days to Europe, 2-4 to the UK, 2-6 to the USA and Canada, 6-22 to the rest of the world. T-shirts and the sweatshirt are made in the United States, so they take considerably longer to reach Europe: 9-25 business days, 7-10 to the UK, 4-10 to the USA and Canada, 5-17 to the rest of the world. Every figure already includes making the piece, since each one is produced when you order it. You will see the exact date for your shipment at checkout.
  • Contact us at mail@yagopartal.com with your order number and clear photos of the damage (include packaging). We will review your case and offer a solution as soon as possible, either replacement or refund.
  • Each portrait combines photography, digital illustration, and AI-generated fragments under Yago's artistic direction: AI supplies intermediate material — references, poses, textures — never the final output. The process includes species research, character design, and detailed manual construction — photomontage, light, color, and illustration — built layer by layer in Photoshop.
  • On-demand production eliminates surplus stock and overproduction. Each product is manufactured only when someone orders it, drastically reducing material waste and the footprint of unsold inventory.
  • No. No animals participate in or are harmed during the process. The portraits are created combining photography, illustration, and artificial intelligence. They are fictional characters representing real species with respect and dignity.
  • Wipe with a damp cloth for surface stains. If machine washing is needed, use cold water and a gentle cycle. As synthetic textiles, washing may release microfibres; use a wash bag if possible.
  • AI generates intermediate fragments of the creative process — references, poses and, for wild species, part of the animal's visual base — never the final piece. Yago directs each portrait: researching the species, designing the character, and building the result by hand in Photoshop, layer by layer. The artistic decision is always human.
