Matte poster

A black bear facing forward, in a knit sweater covered in skulls, holds your gaze against a plain background. This black bear poster is a ready-to-frame print, and it's Liam, a brewer from my Animal Kinhood series.

A Bear Who Tastes Before Serving

This print captures what you can see: a black-furred bear, broad muzzle, with the only color in the image on the sweater — fuchsia and orange skulls on grey, and a geometric turquoise and yellow yoke. I created him head-on and with a clean background: on a wall he reads at a glance. In his story, a retired cook taught Liam to ferment at seventeen and left him with one sentence: what fails isn't the recipe, it's the attention. He's tasted everything before using it ever since.

Animal Kinhood, on Your Wall

Animal Kinhood is the series I've spent years using to portray dressed animals with the lives of ordinary people: someone who brews neighborhood beer, someone who makes deliveries, people who get up early. Liam is one of them, and this print lifts him out of the story and puts him in your home. As an art print, a black bear in a skull sweater looks good on a desk or in a hallway you walk through every day; the matte finish doesn't glare. If you like how it works, there are more creatures in the rest of the collection.

  • Each product is made to order when you place your purchase. There is no pre-made stock or overproduction. A specialised production partner prints, cuts, and prepares it specifically for you.
  • It depends on two things: which piece it is and where it goes. Posters, the mug, the tote and the backpack ship from Europe: 4-7 business days to Europe, 2-4 to the UK, 2-6 to the USA and Canada, 6-22 to the rest of the world. T-shirts and the sweatshirt are made in the United States, so they take considerably longer to reach Europe: 9-25 business days, 7-10 to the UK, 4-10 to the USA and Canada, 5-17 to the rest of the world. Every figure already includes making the piece, since each one is produced when you order it. You will see the exact date for your shipment at checkout.
  • Contact us at mail@yagopartal.com with your order number and clear photos of the damage (include packaging). We will review your case and offer a solution as soon as possible, either replacement or refund.
  • Animal Kinhood is a series of anthropomorphic animal portraits created by Yago Partal. Each portrait features a real species dressed in clothing that reflects its personality, blending photography, illustration, and artificial intelligence.
  • If you notice a print defect (misaligned colours, stains, missing ink areas), contact us with photos at mail@yagopartal.com. Production defects are resolved with a replacement at no extra cost.
  • Yes. We accept custom commissions of all kinds: pet portraits, corporate projects, and artistic collaborations. Visit the Custom Projects section in the footer for details and contact.
  • Open editions (main shop) are on-demand products with no copy limit. Limited editions (the Editions section of the shop) have controlled numbering and premium finishes with gallery-grade materials.
  • The posters use 189 g/m2 matte paper sourced from Japan, 0.26 mm thick. They are printed with water-based multicolour inkjet, ensuring accurate colours and a smooth, glare-free finish.
