When an apprentice asked why the filters get cleaned every month, he answered flatly: "because the dust here isn't dust, it's sand, and sand doesn't forgive."
He works rooftops at nearly fifty degrees, long sleeves, with a precision that shouldn't be possible in that heat, and he doesn't complain — he just doesn't complain.
