In his story, Faiz was fourteen when his father's delivery van didn't turn up at the door one morning. Ibrahim left without a fight and without a note, and in Barka the neighbors gave up asking within ten days. That silence taught him that it isn't always discretion — sometimes it's a van-shaped hole. The portrait doesn't show any of that: just his calm face, facing forward. He carries the rest underneath.
Faiz is one of the Animal Kinhood characters, and this print takes him out of his story and puts him on your wall. The portrait is front-facing with a clean background: on a wall, it doesn't need anything around it. The matte finish doesn't reflect light, so it works above a desk or in a hallway you pass through.
