The one who keeps too much
In his story, Faiz keeps parts for models no longer made, bags of nuts under the van seat, and even eleven old radios he says he's going to sell and never sells a single one. He sleeps with the window open and never locks the door, just the latch, no key, so he knows that, if he wanted to, he could leave. It's not that he wants to go: it's his quiet way of promising himself that he'll stay.
