Low-consumption, not lazy
Koalas sleep almost all day because they burn very little energy, and Cooper defends that with pride: "I'm not lazy, I'm low-consumption, there's a difference." In his story he gets up at five for the radio — the worst part of his day — and then falls into a long nap he calls survival. He's a koala of a calm, cozy life, of the sofa and the fan. Exactly the mood for putting on a hoodie and making no plans at all.
