Cooper lives with Dazza, who teaches carpentry and is a total handyman, and between the two of them there's nothing broken that doesn't get working again. The headphones he does the radio with, in fact, have been wrapped in tape for years, and he prefers them that way over new ones: he puts them on and the voice settles into place on its own. He's a koala of few possessions, well looked after, of secondhand shops and repairs. A sturdy bag for carrying your things suits that way of living.

I created him facing forward with a bare background: on a bag, the portrait reads well from a distance and holds up to daily use. In his story, Cooper delivers hardware by day to cover the rent and does the radio for free, just because he loves it, and he wouldn't trade that life for any other.
