Below the surface
This matte poster of Lowanna is an unframed art print of the portrait of a water lifeguard from Port Lincoln who, off shift, swims slow in the coldest part of the bay. No goal, no watch. Just moving. And the water at that hour smells of seaweed and clean stone, not of sunscreen.
What you see in the portrait is the hand-curved pink cap — a nervous habit she repeats while talking —, the mesh top in the same color, and the yellow bomber jacket with graffiti that an artist friend from Adelaide customized with tags that only the two of them understand. It's a palette chosen against the gray. Because great white sharks carry an image of fear that Lowanna has spent her whole life dismantling with data, with patience, and with phrases like "the sea doesn't owe you anything" that she repeats until they sink in.
The print arrives rolled in a tube, ready for you to frame however you like or hang as you please. Matte finish is better. No shine, no reflections, with a texture you can feel. For paper and substrate details, see the **Paper and finish** tab. For exact measurements, **Print sizes**.
