What you're wearing is a black caiman who works backward compared to everyone else: out in the morning, a short nap, and from afternoon to the small hours in the studio, with her best sessions falling after midnight. It isn't an oddity, it's her best hour. A creature of nocturnal habits, calm, the kind that doesn't fill a room but rather settles it.

She's spent three years turning over an idea that matters to her: her own small label, which would be called Igapó Records. She has it worked out in detail: digital distribution, thirty records in five years, signed permissions from the communities, and royalties paid directly to whoever sang. It's the kind of project with no grandeur to it, all care, that suits someone who's spent her life making others shine without stepping in front of them.
