Her own, known by their tails
Dolma has her own: a few wild red pandas she knows from a distance, each in its own patch of forest, and over whom she watches without going near. She tells them apart by their tails, long and ringed, almost as long as their bodies; in the red panda those rings are different on each individual, as unique as a fingerprint, so even if she can't see the face, if she sees the tail she knows who it is. She watches over a few from afar, and it's enough for her to know they're still there.
