For the week's errands
This hare cloth bag is meant for real use: the market run, the bread, the fruit that's expensive this year, whatever comes up, there and back. It suits Olwen, who fills the bag once for herself and once for the older neighbor she brings the errands to on Tuesdays. She doesn't make a story of it; she just loads up and delivers.
In the portrait you only see the serious face, a hare with tall ears and a calm gaze. The rest I tell in her story; it doesn't fit on cloth.
