Hakon.

Youth t-shirt

An arctic tern t-shirt in a youth size, with the portrait of Hakon: the black cap against the white cheeks, the coral-red bill and the neck gaiter in the same coral, over an orange turtleneck. He is twenty-four and he is a carpenter and he relevels houses raised on piles that the ground moves.

Arctic tern.

Sterna paradisaea

In August the wood moves more.

Breeds on Arctic and subarctic coasts, islets and coastal tundra — Greenland, Iceland, Svalbard, northern Scandinavia and Russia, the British Isles, the Canadian Arctic and Alaska — on shingle beaches and predator-free islets. Winters in the Southern Ocean, tied to the sea ice and to the most productive waters of the southern hemisphere.

The one who calls

His sister Marte is twenty-eight and she leaves in August with her two chicks. She is the one who calls. Always her, and he answers short: yes, no, there are two houses this week. Where he stretches out is when he asks about the chicks — how much they have grown, whether they ate well, how they handled the journey — and there he can go on for a good while. Marte tells him the rest anyway, even if he doesn't ask for it. She has been doing it for years and she no longer expects an answer to everything.

The last boat in August

At nine he was on the last boat in August. Once on the water he turned to look back. The village was empty: the colored houses shut up, the gravel with nobody on it. Nobody else turned; the others went looking straight ahead, which is what you do when there is journey left. When he tells it, that is what he tells: that he turned, that the houses were shut and that it was cold for August.

§ 07What people ask.08 · about POD
  • Each product is made to order when you place your purchase. There is no pre-made stock or overproduction. A specialised production partner prints, cuts, and prepares it specifically for you.
  • It depends on two things: which piece it is and where it goes. Posters, the mug, the tote and the backpack ship from Europe: 4-7 business days to Europe, 2-4 to the UK, 2-6 to the USA and Canada, 6-22 to the rest of the world. T-shirts and the sweatshirt are made in the United States, so they take considerably longer to reach Europe: 9-25 business days, 7-10 to the UK, 4-10 to the USA and Canada, 5-17 to the rest of the world. Every figure already includes making the piece, since each one is produced when you order it. You will see the exact date for your shipment at checkout.
  • Contact us at mail@yagopartal.com with your order number and clear photos of the damage (include packaging). We will review your case and offer a solution as soon as possible, either replacement or refund.
  • Animal Kinhood is a series of anthropomorphic animal portraits created by Yago Partal. Each portrait features a real species dressed in clothing that reflects its personality, blending photography, illustration, and artificial intelligence.
  • Check the size guide in each product tab. Measure a t-shirt that fits you well and compare with the length and width measurements. The t-shirts have a regular fit, neither slim nor oversized.
  • Each portrait combines photography, digital illustration, and AI-generated fragments under Yago's artistic direction: AI supplies intermediate material — references, poses, textures — never the final output. The process includes species research, character design, and detailed manual construction — photomontage, light, color, and illustration — built layer by layer in Photoshop.
  • No. No animals participate in or are harmed during the process. The portraits are created combining photography, illustration, and artificial intelligence. They are fictional characters representing real species with respect and dignity.
  • Yes, we ship worldwide. Shipping costs vary by region and product type. You can see the exact cost at checkout before confirming your order.
