Each product is made to order when you place your purchase. There is no pre-made stock or overproduction. A specialised production partner prints, cuts, and prepares it specifically for you.

How long does delivery take?

Production normally takes 2-5 business days. Shipping adds 3 to 20 days depending on destination. Most orders arrive within 1-3 weeks total. Exact times depend on the production facility and your location.

What do I do if my order arrives damaged?

Contact us at mail@yagopartal.com with your order number and clear photos of the damage (include packaging). We will review your case and offer a solution as soon as possible, either replacement or refund.

How do I choose my t-shirt size?

Check the size guide in each product tab. Measure a t-shirt that fits you well and compare with the length and width measurements. The t-shirts have a regular fit, neither slim nor oversized.

What material are the t-shirts made of?

The t-shirts are 96% cotton and 4% elastane, weighing 189 g/m2. The fabric is soft with a smooth surface, ideal for all-over printing. They are pilling-resistant and colourfast after washing.

Can I return a product if I change my mind?

Yes. You have 14 calendar days to withdraw, with no need to give a reason (TRLGDCU arts. 102-108). Return the product unused and in its original condition; return shipping is at your expense and any loss of value from handling beyond inspection is deducted (art. 108.2). Yago Partal is a visual artist and photographer from Barcelona known for Zoo Portraits (2013), a project that brought his work to international media. Animal Kinhood is the evolution of that artistic exploration.

What is Animal Kinhood?

Animal Kinhood is a series of anthropomorphic animal portraits created by Yago Partal. Each portrait features a real species dressed in clothing that reflects its personality, blending photography, illustration, and artificial intelligence.

This men's arctic tern t-shirt carries Hakon, a carpenter. He shores up, shims and relevels houses raised on piles driven into ground that freezes and thaws; when the ground moves, the house moves with it. Hakon is one of the characters in my Animal Kinhood series, and in the portrait he shows up with the black cap, the coral-red bill and three layers at the neck.

Winters in the Southern Ocean, tied to the sea ice and to the most productive waters of the southern hemisphere.

Twenty minutes without breathing

At twelve, his father let him hold the other end of the batten. Hakon spent twenty minutes without breathing all the way, his air cut in half, watching that the bubble in the level didn't slip out from between the two lines. His father didn't correct his stance or explain anything; he went on measuring and left the batten where it was. That spirit level is the one he has now, and the first thing he takes out when he walks into a house that has gone crooked.

The way he has of giving an estimate

“This holds one more winter. The next one, no.” He says it as he steps down off the scaffolding, with his hand flat on the facade, and with that he has given the whole estimate: the owner knows what is in front of them and in what order the money is going to go. No round number and no courtesy margin. The ones who have been in the village for years don't ask him to put it in writing anymore; they note the year down and call when it is time. Then he climbs back up and shims the corner just enough to hold until the thaw.
