A tote bag for carrying small things, with the portrait of Gavino, a long-eared bat watchmaker from my Animal Kinhood series, where the animals dress and live like people. His face straight on, the bow tie and the herringbone vest, on a bag with handles for everyday use.

Endemic exclusively to Sardinia; Mediterranean forests of holm oak and cork oak on limestone terrain, with refuges in inland caves (Supramonte, Gennargentu).
His father, Bachisio, tuned by ear the bronze *campanacci* of the Mamuthones, the heavy bells of the masked figures of Mamoiada, right next to Nuoro. When he died, Gavino inherited the bench and a bronze tuning fork his father had used to bring those bells into tune. He still uses it to tune the balance of the watches; it's the only thing of his own he kept.
