Bagus.

Mug

This elephant mug features Bagus, a herbalist from my Animal Kinhood series, where the animals dress and live like people. He's a big, tuskless elephant, wearing a mustard corduroy shirt, and he prepares infusions of roots and spices: that's why a mug suits him so well.

Elephas maximus

There's no such thing as a weed. Just an herb you haven't found the use for yet.

Tropical forests and grasslands of South and Southeast Asia (India, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Myanmar, Thailand, Malaysia, Sumatra and Borneo, and southern China); the Sumatran branch lives in the lowland forests and the slopes of the Bukit Barisan mountains.

The One Who Grinds Roots and Spices

I created Bagus facing forward, against a plain background, and that broad, tuskless elephant face is what rules the mug. In his story he's a jamu apothecary: the remedies made by hand in his part of the world, with roots, bark, flowers and spices. Almost everything he prepares ends up as something hot, drunk slowly, a root brew that asks for patience. That's why a mug for your morning infusion suits him perfectly: you fill it, wait a little, and drink without hurry.

Sabar: Fever Has Its Own Timing

Bagus's favorite word is "sabar," which comes down to patience. He repeats that fever has its own timing, like fruit, and that there's no use rushing what moves at its own pace. His whole character is in his biography, if you've taken a liking to him. When someone's past fixing, he doesn't lie to them or sell them a cure: he prepares something warm that tastes like what they ate as a child, gives it to them lukewarm, and sits quietly with them a while. That calm fits in a mug: the one holding your first infusion, first thing, before the day begins.

  • Each product is made to order when you place your purchase. There is no pre-made stock or overproduction. A specialised production partner prints, cuts, and prepares it specifically for you.
  • It depends on two things: which piece it is and where it goes. Posters, the mug, the tote and the backpack ship from Europe: 4-7 business days to Europe, 2-4 to the UK, 2-6 to the USA and Canada, 6-22 to the rest of the world. T-shirts and the sweatshirt are made in the United States, so they take considerably longer to reach Europe: 9-25 business days, 7-10 to the UK, 4-10 to the USA and Canada, 5-17 to the rest of the world. Every figure already includes making the piece, since each one is produced when you order it. You will see the exact date for your shipment at checkout.
  • Contact us at mail@yagopartal.com with your order number and clear photos of the damage (include packaging). We will review your case and offer a solution as soon as possible, either replacement or refund.
  • Yes. We accept custom commissions of all kinds: pet portraits, corporate projects, and artistic collaborations. Visit the Custom Projects section in the footer for details and contact.
  • Animal Kinhood is a series of anthropomorphic animal portraits created by Yago Partal. Each portrait features a real species dressed in clothing that reflects its personality, blending photography, illustration, and artificial intelligence.
  • On-demand production eliminates surplus stock and overproduction. Each product is manufactured only when someone orders it, drastically reducing material waste and the footprint of unsold inventory.
  • Yes. You have 14 calendar days to withdraw, with no need to give a reason (TRLGDCU arts. 102-108). Return the product unused and in its original condition; return shipping is at your expense and any loss of value from handling beyond inspection is deducted (art. 108.2). Your statutory guarantee of conformity also remains fully in force: any product arriving damaged or with a defect is replaced or refunded at no cost. Contact us at mail@yagopartal.com.
  • Yes. You will receive an email with a tracking number when your order ships from production. If your order ships in multiple packages, you will get a separate tracking number for each one.
