§ 17VERIFYauthenticityC2PA · Verisart

Verify your certificate.

Every Animal Kinhood piece comes with a signed physical COA, a C2PA manifest embedded in the image, and a Verisart record on the blockchain. Here you can verify all three layers.

You can also scan the QR code on your physical COA with your phone’s camera · it’ll take you straight to the Verisart record.

The three layers of authenticity

A limited-edition Animal Kinhood piece doesn’t rest on a single piece of paper: its provenance is verified in three separate places.

  1. Signed physical COA · Printed on Hahnemühle Photo Rag in the studio. Hand-signed, numbered (e.g. #003 / 35), with a QR code. Arrives in a certified envelope, shipped separately from the artwork.
  2. C2PA manifest · Provenance data embedded in the high-resolution image file kept in the studio archive. Includes author, creation date, software, edition, cryptographic hash.
  3. Verisart record · A public blockchain entry with a timestamp, the current owner (if you choose to register the transfer), and a link to the C2PA manifest.

What the certificate covers

  • Authorship · Yago Partal (artist alias) as sole creator.
  • Edition number · exact position within the edition (e.g. 003 of 35).
  • Print date · the day it left the WhiteWall workshop (not the sale date).
  • Material and format · exact substrate, dimensions, frame if applicable.

What it doesn’t cover

The certificate isn’t insurance. For nail-to-nail coverage (transit, exhibition), we recommend a separate fine art policy (AXA XL, Hiscox). The studio doesn’t act as an insurer or broker with insurance companies.

Secondary resale

If you sell your piece, the Verisart certificate transfers to the new owner and the blockchain record updates. It’s optional, but recommended: it keeps the provenance chain clean for future sales and for a possible buyback from the studio.
