John.

John builds electric guitars in Duluth, on the shore of Lake Superior. He looks like thunder and has hands that scare and tune in equal measure: half the city's music scene plays instruments off his bench. Of a guitar written off for dead he says, «it's not dead, it's just out of tune with life». And he keeps adding parts to one of his own he never finishes.
