For several years I have been creating dozens of fictitious characters through photomontage, digital illustration and other techniques to combine them and explore their possibilities. Pure learning exercises. I have long been obsessed with creating portraits and characters. Curiously, always in a frontal and symmetrical manner. Something that might appear to be a lack of resources to do otherwise, in reality hides an ongoing obsession with portraiture that looks directly at the camera, video games or fantasy.
